  3. Dialog Semiconductor: In August 2021, Renesas announced its intention to acquire Dialog Semiconductor, a semiconductor company known for its mixed-signal and power management solutions. The acquisition was expected to strengthen Renesas' position in various markets, including automotive, industrial, and IoT.
