Emphasizing affordability without compromising on quality, APT's primary objective has always been to develop top-tier, reliable technology. A testament to this commitment is its flagship product, the TTC-1000, with over 11,000 units shipped across the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean.

APT-RF's Military & Aerospace Division specializes in a range of high-power transistors tailored for P-Band Pulsed Radar Applications. These transistors incorporate advanced chip designs and processing enhancements to deliver cutting-edge performance, particularly in terms of high power and high gain across the frequency spectrum, while maintaining minimal droop over pulse widths exceeding 150 microseconds.

The P-Band series comprises three model types: 0910-60M, 0910-150M, and 0910-300M, covering frequencies for P-Band Radar Applications from 890 to 1000 MHz with respective pulsed output powers of 60W, 150W, and 300W. Designed to accommodate medium pulse widths of 150 microseconds with a minimum duty cycle of 5%, these transistors ensure reliable operation under demanding conditions.

For example, the high-performance class C 300W device offers specifications such as 9.6 dB of power gain, 50% collector efficiency, and extremely low droop of 0.5 dB or less across the entire 150-microsecond pulse width. This exceptional performance is made possible through the utilization of the latest APT RF's Si BJT high-power technology.

Microsemi Advanced Power TechnologyIn 2005, Microsemi Corp. (Irvine, CA), a renowned manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and power management integrated circuits, acquired Advanced Power Technology (APT, Bend, OR). This strategic acquisition enabled Microsemi to broaden its portfolio of analog mixed-signal offerings in the radio-frequency marketplace, while also enhancing its presence in the defense/aerospace and medical sectors. Previously known as Advanced Power Technology, APT now functions within the Microsemi Power Products Group.
