AUPO Electronics

aupo The AUPO was established in 1986 at the Harbor city, Xiamen, China. AUPO is an advanced high-tech enterprise that specialized in thermal links (thermal protectors) research and development, production and sale. AUPO has developed more than 10 series 100 models of thermal links. AUPO's annual productivity achieves 1 billion pieces.

AUPO Thermal Fuses The AUPO strictly operates under superior management system and quality assurance system based on ISO9001. Also AUPO's products have been recognized and certificated by a number of domestic and foreign safety laboratories including UL, CUL, VDE, TUV, CSA, PSE, KTL-EK, CCC, and so on. AUPO's own laboratory has been certified by UL and VDE as the witness laboratory.

A thermal fuse, also known as a thermal limiter, thermal device, thermal cutoff, microtemp, etc., is a cutoff which uses a one-time fusible link. Unlike the thermostat which automatically resets itself when the temperature drops, the thermal fuse is more like an electrical fuse: a single-use device that cannot be reset and must be replaced when it fails or is triggered. Thermal fuses are used in many appliances such as dryers, microwaves, etc.

The thermal fuse, also called a thermal cutoff, is a small electrical switch that stops your device from heating up once it reaches its designated temperature. The thermal cutoffs (TCO) are non resetting, thermally sensitive, single pole, normally closed devices and are intended to be used in various appliances.A temperature sensitive thermal fuse melts and opens electrical contacts when temperatures exceed the rating of the thermal fuse. Thermal cutoffs are providing protection against potentially hazardous overheating conditions in billions of products around the world.

Thermal fuses, Thermal cut offs
Thermal fuses or thermal cutoffs are one-time, non-resettable, temperature-sensitive devices that provides ultimate thermal protection in electrical or electronic circuits. These one-shot fuses are mainly defined by their temperature setting but also by their current rating, which is the maximum continuous current that can be applied.

Application

Thermal protection for electric heating: TCO mounted on Heating device to prevent abnormal temperature rise of heating

Thermal protection for motor:TCO mounted in coil to protect the motor thermal protection for motor

Thermal protection for the electromagnetic valve:TCO mounted in coil to protect the electromagnetic valve

Thermal protection for temperature control:TCO mounted with thermostat on temperature limiter, to prevent abnormal over heating

Thermal protection for components-PCB:TCO mounted on control panel, close attached to resistor, to prevent abnormal overheating of resistor
