A premium solder designed with the artist in mind. Made by a special process, ULTIMATE combines tin, lead, and two other metals to produce the perfect solder. It goes from solid to liquid and back to solid instantly with no pasty range, creating a solid, even seam. NO WAVY HEAT LINES in your seams. Work faster than ever while running the smoothest beaded seam. It does the job with one pass of the iron. Melts at 361F for best results use a rheostat to control soldering iron. Canfield's Ultimate Lead Solder (63/37) sets up quickly making it ideal for decorative soldering. Sold in convenient 1 lb. spools. This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, and lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

1958 Canfield Diamond Lead Free Solder 1/2 Lb. Spool

Diamond Lead-Free Solder is specifically manufactured for use on lead-free came due to its low melting temperature. It has also become popular for traditional stained glass applications due to the low melting temperature. Due to the melting temperature of the came and solder we recommend that you keep your iron set between 300 - 400.
