The collective uncertainty of measurement standards, unless otherwise specified, shall not exceed 25 percent of the acceptable tolerance for the characteristic being calibrated. Environmental controls are diligently applied to maintain required measurement accuracy, considering factors like temperature (73 +/- 4 degrees), humidity (45% +/- 10%), and cleanliness.
